The UV Transformation Challenge
We are delighted to announce the UV Transformation Challenge.
We want you to spend 9 weeks creating habits and lifestyle changes in your nutrition & training, which will result in permanent results.
It’s often during December andJanuary when we reflect on our goals and objectives for the next year. For many of us, our physical health comes into focus as a priority—BUT—after a few months or weeks (or for some of us, even days), the feverish pace of our normal schedule takes its toll and we fall back into our old habits as the demands of everyday life resume after the holidays.
The dictionary definition of a habit is “a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.” Habits become your lifestyle, and your lifestyle will lead to permanent results.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1121″ border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Less than 10% of people succeed at achieving their beginning-of-year goals. If you are one of the determined folks we want to reward you for your hard work! (did we mention that there are prizes?!)
If you are part of the 90%, don’t get discouraged if you aren’t immediately there. There’s no reason to get disheartened because we’re here to help!
Forming a habit takes time, and if it’s a good habit, the outcome will be well worth the commitment.
You may have heard a popular catchphrase that it takes 21 days to form a new habit. Science and real-world experience tells us that it actually takes a MINIMUM of 21 days, but on average between 60 to 90 days. So, for most people, 90 days (or 3 months or 12 weeks—however you look at it) is a much more effective and realistic timeframe to incorporate new behaviours into your life.
If you are ready to get started today, look ahead toward your next 9 weeks:
where do you want to be 9 weeks from now? Mark it off on your calendar. Use this as a bookend to create the new habit, but remember, it doesn’t end there and that is not the goal of the challenge.

How is the challenge going to run?
We want you to spend 9 weeks making positive changes in your lifestyle, diet, and training.Remember, our goal is to help you focus on making lasting changes rather than simply focusing on doing well in January and then potentially slacking off after a few weeks.
We’ve already created the UV Committed Club (see the detais here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8p6fmCbzGI&t=9s and coupling it with this challenge will result in fantastic, long term, habits and results.
Another great thing about doing this as a challenge is that you’ll know that you’re not alone and will have a support system of not only your coach, but everyone else who’s working hard towards their goals.
The challenge will start with an InBody body composition scan on day one and will have one scan every three weeks during the challenge (4 scans in total on weeks 1, 3, 6 &9) to help keep you motivated and on-track with your goals.You will also do a one-on-one nutritional consultation to help guide you towards making the best possible nutritional decisions.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

I’m all in! so how do I win?
The winners will be decided by the percentage change in body composition.
There will be three categories as follows;
- Most body-fat lost as a percentage of starting body-fat
- Most lean muscle gained as a percentage of starting lean muscle
- Most body-fat percentage lost as a percentage of starting body-fat percentage
As a working example of how the scoring works. If person A started with 30lbs of body fat and lost 3lbs that would be a 10% decrease in body-fat. If person B started with 20lbs of body-fat and lost 3lbs that would be a 15% decrease in body-fat. Even though both people lost the same amount of body-fat person B would be the winner because they lost a higher percentage of body-fat.

The winner in each category will receive a free half-month membership, a UV shirt and a pair of UV socks.
There will also be three runners up prize of a UV shirt and a pair of UV socks for:
- the highest total body-fat lost in lbs
- the highest total lean muscle gained in lbs
- the highest total percentage body-fat lost
Start Dates and Testing:
We are offering several starting dates across the next few weeks as follows:
- Starting Saturday 12thof January and finishing Saturday 6th of March
- Starting Saturday 19thof January and finishing Saturday 23rd of March
- Saturday 26thof January and finishing Saturday 30th of March
- Starting Saturday 2ndof February and finishing Saturday 6th of April
The standard cost for 4 InBody scans is $160 and it’s $100 for a nutritional consultation however we’re offering the challenge at a much lower price than this because we want to make it so cheap that it’s a no-brainer!
